DISTURBED Guitarist Interviewed In Vienna (Video)
November 26, 2010Austria's Stormbringer.at webzine conducted an interview with Dan Donagan (guitar) of Chicago heavy rockers DISTURBED before the band's November 24, 2010 concert at Gasometer in Vienna, Austria as part of the "Rockstar Taste Of Chaos 2010". You can now watch the chat below.
DISTURBED had to cancel two weeks of U.S. dates earlier this fall when singer David Draiman was stricken with a throat infection. The band is back on the road now in Europe and Dan Donegan told The Pulse Of Radio that the break was a necessary one. "It was just too difficult to keep going, you know, five shows a week without any time for him to recover fully, and now that he's done that, you know, we're back in full force and over in Europe right now and doing, headlining Taste Of Chaos over here with PAPA ROACH, BUCKCHERRY and HALESTORM," he said.
Draiman in 2006 underwent successful surgery to fix a deviated septum which was making breathing difficult and affecting his vocal abilities on stage.
DISTURBED will return to the stage in the U.S. in January with its fifth "Music As A Weapon" tour.
The band will be joined by KORN, SEVENDUST and IN THIS MOMENT. Just one date has been revealed so far, in Rochester, New York on January 19, but a full schedule is expected soon.
DISTURBED is touring behind its fifth album, "Asylum", and has just released a video for its latest single, "The Animal".
